400 clock hour

In our program, our future barbers receive 400 clock hours of instruction, approximately 13.5weeks.  The objective of this program is to provide complete training in all procedures and practices of barbering and to prepare students for the state-licensing exam. The barber program is comprised of 280 clock hours of theory and 125 physical hours totaling 400 clock.of barber theory which students gain an understanding of sanitation, sterilization, barber history, barber laws, and shop management.

 

We provide our students with all the skills and techniques that will set them apart in their professional careers. Students will learn Styling the hair with hand hair dryer, Thermal Waving, Permanent waving with chemicals, Relaxing the hair, Lightning or toning the hair, Hairpieces and Wigs, Waxing limited to the scalp. Upon completion, each student will have an opportunity to go over job placement and select where they would like to begin their employment.

 

KULTURE KUTS ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

  1. High School Diploma (HSD) or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) If you don't have an HSD or GED, KKA will administer entrance exam prior to enrolling. If you have a HSD from a foreign country, you have to submit notarized translation and copy of the original

  2. Proof of address

  3. State Issued Identification, Driver's License, U.S. Social Security Card

  4. $1000 Down Payment

 

TOTAL COST OF THE PROGRAM/TUITION PAYMENT PLAN

The total cost of the program is $2,500 including $100 non refundable registration fee.

 

Kulture Kuts Academy offers students a tuition payment plan that allows students to pay while they attend school. Upon registration, students will pay a $1000 tuition down payment. After you make the initial tuition deposit of $1000, there will be a leftover balance of $1500. The

remaining balance is to be paid by the 8th week of class.

Tuesday, Thursday & Friday  (Virtual Instruction)

Monday   9:00am - 3:30pm       (In-Person Classroom)
